If your child is now enrolled in homeschool, it's time to let your public school know that you're making the transition and make that break up official!
Your first step is to write a letter of intent (typically sent to the superintendent) of the school district . You will want to include your student's name, his/her birthday, the grade they are in, the teacher they are leaving and the effective date your student will begin education inside the home. You can also call your school's office and see if they will accept your phone call as a declaration of intent. Either way, let the school know your child will be leaving.
Stay in-the-know on everything homeschool. We promise we won't bombard your email:)
